Program Management Office Analyst

Program Management Office (PMO) Analyst – PROJXON

About the Role: 20 hrs/week, unpaid, 6-month program.
Fully remote | Operations Team | OPT/CPT eligible

Responsibilities

Support the PMO in standardizing project and program management practices across the organization.

Assist in developing and maintaining project templates, governance frameworks, and reporting standards.

Track project and program performance using dashboards, KPIs, and milestone reports.

Support portfolio-level reporting to provide visibility into timelines, risks, resource utilization, and dependencies.

Help ensure alignment between strategic initiatives and organizational objectives.

Coordinate cross-functional updates and consolidate project status reports for leadership.

Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency, consistency, and delivery outcomes.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field (or currently pursuing).

Interest in program management, project governance, or enterprise operations.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, including strong Excel or spreadsheet skills.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a remote environment.

 

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with PMO concepts, portfolio management, or governance structures.

Experience using project or portfolio management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, Jira, Asana).

Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Comfort working with dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level summaries.

Ability to collaborate across teams and influence without direct authority.

Experience supporting documentation, audits, or compliance initiatives.
