She Biology – Cultivated Skincare Concept Store

She Biology is a luxury clean skincare house rooted in psychodermatology, ritual, and intentional beauty. We are opening our first brick-and-mortar store and are seeking two paid interns to join us as Beauty Sales Associate Interns.

 

This internship is ideal for students interested in beauty, skincare, fashion, wellness, marketing, retail, or entrepreneurship who want hands-on experience inside a growing luxury beauty company.

 

Internship Term

Spring & Summer 2026 (February 2026 – August 2026)

Option to extend into Fall 2026 based on interest and performance

 

Students seeking academic credit are encouraged to apply. She Biology is happy to support school documentation requirements.

 

Schedule

Store open: Tuesday – Saturday

10 hours per week per intern

2 shifts per week

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Some overlapping shifts during peak hours, weekends, or events

 

Compensation

$12/hour (≈ $520/month)

Opportunity for sales commission & performance bonuses

 

About the Internship

As a Beauty Sales Associate Intern, you will gain real-world experience in:

  • Luxury retail sales & elevated customer experience
  • Skincare education, ingredient knowledge, and product usage
  • Brand storytelling and in-store merchandising
  • Point-of-sale systems and retail operations
  • Supporting and helping execute curated brand activations, pop-ups, and community events
  • Content creation in a retail environment
  • Working directly with the founder to understand how a beauty brand is built and scaled

 

Learning Objectives (for Universities)

By the end of the internship, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate professional customer service skills in a luxury retail environment
  • Apply skincare knowledge to educate consumers on product usage, ingredients, and routines
  • Operate retail point-of-sale systems and manage real-world transactions responsibly
  • Understand fundamentals of brand positioning, merchandising, and in-store marketing
  • Analyze consumer behavior in a physical retail setting
  • Communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members
  • Support and execute retail events and product launches
  • Develop time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced business environment
  • Gain exposure to entrepreneurship and early-stage retail operations

  • Gain hands-on experience supporting and executing brand activations and retail marketing events

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist customers with warmth and professionalism
  • Educate guests on She Biology products and skincare rituals
  • Ring up purchases for She Biology and guest/partner brands using the POS system
  • Handle payments accurately (cash, card, digital)
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually beautiful
  • Support in-store events and brand activations (setup, execution, breakdown)
  • Assist with inventory, restocking, and daily operations
  • Occasionally assist with in-store content creation

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled college student or recent graduate preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes
  • Interest in beauty, wellness, fashion, marketing, or retail

 

No prior luxury retail experience required — training provided.
