Content Manager
Content Manager — Full Time, In-House (Santa Rosa Beach, FL)
Salary: $50,000 - $80,000
SORD is hiring a full-time, in-house Content Manager to own our content pipeline end-to-end and relieve key day-to-day responsibilities from our Creative Director. This role has clear growth potential inside SORD's marketing department.
What you’ll do
- Plan, film, and edit both fishing and product content (photo + short form + YouTube long form)
- Manage all SORD social channels (scheduling, posting, captions, comments/DMs)
- Run the content calendar and keep the content pipeline organized, on-brand, and aligned with the marketing strategy
- Build relationships with SORD ambassadors, travel to film with them, and film at SORD events
- Produce website content: product page photos, videos, and updated copy
- Support marketing campaigns: email + SMS campaign creation, creative for Meta/YouTube/Google/Amazon ads
- Track performance and optimize content for engagement and ecommerce conversion
Requirements
- Strong camera skills + photography & videography experience (and confident directing talent)
- Proficient editing skills (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
- Passion for fishing and outdoor lifestyle content
- Organized, self-starting, and able to execute fast without constant oversight
- Must work in-house in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and be willing to travel on content shoots (and get to fish around the country)
Nice to have
- Graphic design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva)
- Shopify + Klaviyo experience
- Dropbox + Google Drive experience
