Senior Front End Developer (Angular) | Level – Senior Associate

Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front End Developer with a strong focus on Angular to help design, build, and maintain modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Angular and front-end architecture, a strong eye for usability and performance, and experience collaborating closely with backend, product, and DevOps teams. A background working with .NET-based APIs and services is highly beneficial. This role also serves as a technical leader and mentor for junior developers and contributes to front-end standards and best practices across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Design & Architecture 

Design, architect, and evolve Angular-based front-end applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability 
Define and enforce front-end architectural standards, patterns, and best practices 

Collaborate with backend teams to design clean, efficient API integrations (REST/JSON), particularly with .NET services 

Evaluate and recommend new front-end technologies, frameworks, and tools 
Participate in UI/UX discussions to ensure technical feasibility and optimal user experience 

Development & Maintenance 

Build, enhance, and maintain complex Angular applications using modern Angular features and tooling 

Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces 

Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code 

Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, performance bottlenecks, and cross-browser compatibility problems 

Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to standards 

Integration & Collaboration 

Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality features 

Collaborate with DevOps teams to support build, deployment, and CI/CD processes 

Serve as a technical escalation point for complex front-end issues 

Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 

Quality, Testing & Optimization 

Implement and maintain front-end testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing 

Ensure applications meet performance, security, and accessibility standards 

Continuously improve application performance, usability, and reliability 

Mentorship & Leadership 

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers 

Contribute to team knowledge-sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives 

 

Additional Responsibilities: 

Provide backup and support for others in the group as necessary 

Skills & Qualifications: 

Strong experience with Angular (modern versions), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS 

Solid understanding of front-end architecture, state management, and component-driven design 

Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs; familiarity with .NET backends is a plus 

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies 

Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows 

Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and tools 

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills 

Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills 

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 

Eagerness to stay current with front-end trends, tools, and best practices 

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 

5+ years of professional front-end development experience 

3+ years of hands-on experience developing production Angular applications 

Experience working in enterprise-scale or complex application environments 

Prior experience collaborating with .NET-based backend systems is highly desirable 

Strong track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable front-end solutions 

Expected Hours of Work: 

The work schedule for this position will be primarily Monday- Friday during typical business hours; however, based on the operational needs of this rapidly growing company, some work outside of typical business hours may be required.  

Work Environment: 

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.  

Physical Demands: 

This would require the ability to sit at a desk, frequent walking, bend or stand as necessary.  Lifting and moving equipment weighing under 100 lbs is also possible.
