About the Role
We are seeking an intelligent, resourceful, and highly motivated Research Associate to join our Alternative Investments team. This role sits at the intersection of finance, relationship management, and analytical research. As part of the team, you will develop a deep understanding of financial markets, industry trends, and current events, and be able to articulate their impact on hiring and talent dynamics.
You will work closely with leading private equity, hedge fund, growth equity, and venture capital firms, as well as endowments and family offices, as they seek to hire top talent across investment research, investor relations, and other functions. In parallel, you will build relationships with high-performing professionals across Wall Street, gaining insight into their backgrounds, career trajectories, and long-term goals.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Partnering closely with an experienced recruiter to support the overall effectiveness and execution of search processes

Meeting with and screening candidates; providing résumé feedback, interview preparation, and market insights

Supporting active searches through detailed industry and firm-level research, candidate sourcing, and profile development

Creating search summaries and candidate materials for clients; conducting candidate debriefs

Managing interview logistics, including coordinating interview days, preparing candidates, and serving as the primary liaison between clients and candidates throughout the process

Producing industry research and reporting for clients, including investment banking, hedge fund, and private equity compensation surveys, as well as class and market profiles

Assisting with internal marketing initiatives and ad hoc business development projects
