We are currently in the process of interviewing for an art handling/driver position. We seek applicants with 5 years of experience in fine art handling and transport. Your expertise is highly valued and will be a significant asset to our team. Applicants must also be self-motivated and comfortable working within a team environment. Our technicians must have experience working directly with clients and managing daily projects.

Essential Requirements:

• Proficiency in operating 16' to 26' box trucks
• Possession of a current driver's license in good standing, with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) being advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to drive long distances and/or participate in project-based travel.
• Experience and/or certifications with industry-related equipment such as forklifts and gantries are a plus.
• Knowledge of suitable packing materials and techniques for artwork tailored for both long-term storage and short-term transportation.
• Installation expertise in handling diverse art pieces in varying environments, encompassing straightforward and highly intricate installations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain accurate documentation pertaining to executed projects and DOT regulations.
• Prior experience engaging and working with clients in face-to-face settings.
• Prior experience engaging and working in Washington, DC museums including SI and NGA.
