About the Role:

BWise, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Preconstruction Coordinator to join its team in the Grandview, Missouri office. This position plays a critical role in the preconstruction process and serves as a central point of coordination and support for the preconstruction department. The Preconstruction Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of information, supporting estimating and bidding efforts, and ensuring all preconstruction tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This role works closely with internal project teams and external subcontractors to ensure bids are complete and projects are properly prepared for successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare bids & send to subcontractors.
• Assist in tracking and following up on bid proposals from subcontractors.
• Communicate with subcontractors to ensure comprehensive bid coverage.
• Utilize project management tools to organize, and manage project documentation, including plans, specifications, photos, contacts, notifications, meeting minutes, and submittal registers/logs.
• Perform accurate take-offs and identify scope requirements to support estimating efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Estimating experience within the commercial HVAC industry is helpful.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using construction or project management software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications, with strong spatial comprehension skills.
• Professional demeanor with a neat and well-groomed appearance.
