Job Description

The Modern/Contemporary Dance Teaching Artist supports creative exploration, technique, and storytelling through movement. Instruction encourages self-expression, improvisation, and emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

Teach modern/contemporary technique and movement exploration

Facilitate improvisation and choreography projects

Integrate reflective discussion and movement journaling

Support students in developing original work

Qualifications

Background in modern/contemporary dance

Comfort with creative process and student-led exploration

Experience teaching youth preferred
