The Role
This role supports the Vice President of Sales and Marketing while assisting with customer service for wholesale clients. The intern will serve as a key support to the wholesale team with internal company functions, helping grow revenue through both online and offline channels, and increasing brand exposure with existing and new retailers in North America. Reporting to the VP of Sales and working closely with Sales and Operations team members, this is a hands-on role requiring collaboration across departments and external partners to ensure client satisfaction and smooth operations.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team with project management, pre- and post-market tasks, including sample requests, updating line sheets, data entry, price increases, tradeshow prep, and other operational needs.
- Handle daily purchase order entry and returns for dropship and independent accounts via B2B systems and retail/dropship portals.
- Support digital B2B and D2C platforms, including website maintenance, catalog imports, portal setup, inventory feeds, and content updates.
- Provide high-level customer service to assigned wholesale clients, assisting in communication and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the Operations team on 3PL warehouse management to ensure timely shipments, resolve shipping issues, and maintain accurate order flow.
- Review open orders, help manage out-of-stock reports, and communicate ETAs to clients.
- Assist with updating and maintaining EDI catalogs and provide assortment updates to clients.
- Assist with data uploads and management on Shopify and other client-facing platforms.
Other Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support wholesale team during market, tradeshows, trunk shows, and events, including possible travel.
- Assist with new account onboarding and chargeback resolution.
- Maintain accurate client setup files and develop knowledge of each customer’s business model.
- Partner with the AR department on account collection, including pre-authorizing credit cards and supporting research, documentation, and client communication.
