Founding Technical Co-Founder

The Mission

Pauv Inc. is an Austin-based FinTech startup operating out of Capital Factory. We are building the first high-throughput exchange for human capital. Our platform allows users to trade "Personal Value" (PV) tokens, shifting the creator economy from passive engagement to active human equity. We are currently scaling our architecture to support real-time trading of human potential as a liquid asset class.

The Technical Challenge

We are not building a standard social application. We are engineering a sophisticated financial engine that requires deep expertise in distributed systems and database optimization. Key focus areas include:

Hybrid Ledger Architecture: Managing a system that utilizes optimized PostgreSQL for speed and a private blockchain for immutable audit logs.
High-Concurrency Trading: Achieving sub-10ms transaction latency to ensure a seamless exchange environment.
Automated Market Maker (AMM): Developing and refining proprietary algorithms that maintain liquidity and price discovery for thousands of unique assets.

The Role and Ownership

As our Founding Technical Co-Founder, you will have total ownership of the codebase and technical strategy. This is a leadership-track position for a builder who wants to be a pillar of the company.

Equity Stake: 30% ownership in Pauv Inc.
Vesting Schedule: Standard four-year vesting with a one-year cliff to ensure long-term alignment.
Subsistence Salary and Funding Trigger: We provide a small monthly subsistence salary to cover basic living expenses until our next funding milestone. This is followed by a contractually guaranteed market-rate salary that triggers immediately upon the completion of our next $500,000 funding round.
Location: This is an Austin-based role. You will work directly with the founding team in person at Capital Factory to prepare for our upcoming Seed round.

Who You Are

The Builder: We prioritize your ability to ship over the length of your resume. You are obsessed with high-performance code and find standard SaaS uninspiring. You have the raw grit to build through technical obstacles and the desire to create a truly awesome product from scratch.
The Architect: You possess a native understanding of PostgreSQL, high-frequency trading mechanics, or distributed ledger logic. We do not care about your years spent in a cubicle; we care about your ability to design a system that handles massive concurrency with sub-10ms latency.
The Entrepreneur: You are driven by the mission and the prospect of owning 30% of the company. You understand that this critical "sink or swim" phase requires high-intensity effort and you are motivated by the challenge of turning a bold vision into a 2026 reality.
