Venue Sales Associate
About the role
We’re looking for a junior, scrappy Venue Sales Associate to help grow PartyPlace by sourcing, talking to, and onboarding new venue partners. This is a hands-on role with real ownership across the full early sales cycle, from outreach to getting venues fully live on the platform. If you’re early in your career, comfortable reaching out to people, and excited to learn sales by actually doing it, this role is for you.

What you’ll do
- Prospect and source new venues using creative, scrappy methods (email, phone, social, in-person, referrals)
- Follow up quickly on inbound venue leads
- Take intro calls, explain PartyPlace’s value, and handle basic objections
- Own venue setup and onboarding once they say yes (collect details, get listings live, ensure accuracy)
- Help partners get to their first booking and flag issues early
- Keep notes organized and move things forward without being asked
Who you are
- 0–2 years out of school or equivalent experience
- Comfortable reaching out to people and hearing “no”
- Organized, proactive, and fast to follow up
- Clear communicator in email, phone, and Zoom
- Excited to learn sales, partnerships, and startups hands-on
- Prior sales, hospitality, events, or startup experience
- Nice to have: Familiarity with NYC bars, restaurants, or venues

PartyPlace is an early-stage startup with big goals and a fast-moving culture. This is not a standard 9–5 job. If you're looking for strict hours or a narrowly defined role, this probably won't be the best match.
