Accounting/Tax Intern

This is a paid summer intern position working in MetLife, Inc.'s Tax Department in St. Louis.  The position would be a full-time position from June through mid-August at MetLife's facility in Creve Coeur.  Interested candidates should have completed their junior or senior year in accounting or be a graduate student in accounting and have a minimum GPA of 3.2.  The Intern would be performing the following duties:

Prepare state income tax returns and international information returns for various MetLife subsidiaries in accordance with current tax laws and interpretations using tax return preparation software. May also assist with state premium tax and sales/use tax filing for various MetLife entities. 

Applicants should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.  Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook would also be helpful.
