Full time in-house position for New Life Church in Corpus Christi, TX

About New Life Church:

New Life Church in Corpus Christi, Texas is a large non-denominational church that has been in a full-scale sustained revival for the last 7 years. Beginning in the summer of 2018, God began to pour out His Spirit as a response to a desire to make room for more of Him in services. It has grown in depth and intensity and has been marked by hundreds of doctor-confirmed healings, over 7,000 spontaneous baptisms, signs and wonders, and an outpouring of gospel preaching accompanied by the power of the Holy Spirit throughout the city. Over 1000 high school and college students meet regularly in small groups and bible clubs throughout the city and in public schools adding to the depth and breadth of the move of God here.

The NLC Creative Team has grown in size and scope to help facilitate the growth of the church but is now looking to add the position of a full time graphic designer to the  team to continue to move forward in what God has for NLC.

General Job Requirements:

• Be flexible and available to accomplish the goals of the Pastoral Team and Creative Team within New Life Church. 
• Be mindful of the visual language and aesthetic of New Life Church and its various ministries when creating branding and designs.
• Maintain familiarity with current design practices in print and digital media.
• Skilled use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign.
• Work alongside the Creative Team and Pastoral Team to create content that aligns with the vision and mission of New Life.
• Be willing to collaborate and help with any other creative projects and events where necessary. 

Skills Description:

• Event branding (Promotional materials, social media content, merch, etc.)
• Logo creation, custom artwork, text layout, and formatting
• Help create a brand guide and solidify the visual identity of NLC
• Conceptualize vision and ideas from Leadership into effective digital and print media and materials
• Research and develop plans for event promotion
• Distribute completed graphics to the proper people and ministries
• Update ClickUp (Project management software) with the status/progress of tasks 
• Utilize Teams and email for church wide communication

Compensation: 

Pay is negotiable based on expertise and experience with regular raises given to all staff members.
