Superintendent of Schools

Niobrara County School District #1, Lusk, Wyoming, is accepting applications for a superintendent of schools. The successful candidate should demonstrate successful teaching, management, administrative and instructional leadership skills and possess high moral character to inspire and lead a school district that expects and supports a comprehensive educational program for its students. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience at an amount not less than $125,000. Compensation will include a comprehensive benefits package.

Niobrara County School District #1 covers all of Niobrara County in eastern Wyoming and hosts the Wyoming Virtual Academy. The district serves approximately 950 students in three brick and mortar schools including a comprehensive high school, a middle school/elementary school, a rural school, and the Wyoming Virtual Academy. Niobrara 1 offers a comprehensive educational program for students in grades kindergarten through 12. The mission of Niobrara 1 is to inspire learning, empower innovation, and honor community, everyday. The district is fully accredited by the Wyoming State Board of Education.
