Social Media Intern

FreshWater Cleveland is an online news publication in Cleveland, Ohio that reports on the people and organizations making positive change for their communities and covers the arts, entertainment, and cultural institutions.

We are looking for a social media intern to create posts and share daily news stories, post on relevant events and other news, and engage FreshWater readers through Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels. Posts need to be made in a timely manner and often.

Requites strong writing skills, creativity and wit, and the ability to engage viewers to click through to the story link and comment.

Some days we publish multiple stories, and post timing must be determined to get all information out-- ensuring the information doesn't overwhelm the viewer or leave big breaks in activity.
