Irrigation Technician
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented technician who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and seeing real results at the end of the day. If you take pride in your work and want to build a long-term career in irrigation and landscape lighting, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Install, service, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot leaks, wiring issues, valves, controllers, and coverage problems
- Perform seasonal system start-ups, inspections, and winterizations
- Install and maintain low-voltage landscape lighting systems
- Read site plans, follow layouts, and help bring outdoor designs to life
- Communicate clearly with customers and teammates
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional

- Comfort working outdoors in varied conditions
- Ability to lift, dig, kneel, and work with tools daily
- Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship
- Willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience performing irrigation maintenance and installation in a commercial or residential environment, or similar experience in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical fields
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with clients
- Familiarity with smart phones and basic computer operations
- Strong written, verbal and personal communication skills
- Must have a valid driving license, with a clean record, no major violation in the last 3 to 5 years
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand, squat, reach for long periods and lift minimum 50 lbs as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of construction plans and diagrams
- Possess irrigation certification(s)
- Experience with servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial/residential irrigation systems
- Knowledge of irrigation controllers, timers and sensors

- Continual pay rate increases: +$1 per hour after your first 90 days and an additional $0.25 per hour for every additional 90 days. Receive an increase of up to $2 per hour at the 2-year mark.
