Schedule: varies by location

 

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly welcome patients and prepare treatment rooms for hygiene procedures
  • Update patients' health history and provide personalized oral hygiene education
  • Conduct scaling, root planning, and fluoride application
  • Identify periodontal and restorative issues, and facilitate dentist's treatment recommendations
  • Interpret x-rays and conduct head, neck, and oral cancer exams
  • Inspire patients to maintain proper oral hygiene and preventive measures
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and keep a tidy, organized dental lab
  • Adhere to safety, OSHA guidelines, and office standards
  • Embrace learning opportunities, including occasional travel for continuing education or seminars

 

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
  • Current state license and CPR certification
  • Minimum 1 year of dental experience
  • Certification in anesthesia preferred, if applicable
