Marketing & Partnerships Intern (Remote) - Productivity App

About Yoodoo:

Yoodoo is a time-blocking planner app (iOS & Android) for chaotic brains, for people who've tried every productivity system and watched them all fail. We've got 50,000+ users, real revenue, and we're ready to scale.

I'm Ross, the founder. I spent 12 years as a UX designer at Spotify, Facebook, and Ticketmaster before burning out and building something that actually works for people like me. Now I'm scaling this thing, and I need your help.

The Role:

I'm looking for a hungry, organised marketing student (or recent grad) to help me blow this up. You'll own real projects from day one:

  • Influencer outreach, Research, contact, and manage relationships with creators in the productivity, self-improvement, mental health, and "messy brain" space
  • Partnership development, Reach out to coaches, therapists, and universities
  • B2B prospecting, Identify and contact HR/People teams at companies interested in employee wellbeing and productivity tools
  • Community growth, Find and engage with communities where our users hang out

You'll work directly with me. No fetching coffee, no busy work — just real growth marketing on a real product.

What You'll Get:

  • Hands-on startup experience (not a “learning module”, actual work that moves the needle)
  • Mentorship from an award-winning designer who's worked at the biggest tech companies
  • Portfolio material you can actually talk about in interviews
  • A glowing reference/recommendation
  • Potential for paid role, stipend, or revenue-share as we grow, If you make Yoodoo explode then you'll get paid and the possibility of stock options (i'm a fair guy)
  • Free Yoodoo Pro for life (obviously)

You Might Be Great If:

  • You're studying marketing, business, communications, or related field (or recently graduated)
  • You're organised and can follow up relentlessly
  • You're comfortable with outreach, DMs, emails, cold contact don't scare you
  • You're self-directed, I'll give you a target, you figure out how to hit it
  • You're into productivity, self-improvement, or just helping people get their shit together

To Apply:

Send me a short email or message with:

  1. A few sentences on why this interests you
  2. One example of a time you reached out to someone cold and made something happen (doesn't have to be professional, could be getting a speaker for a uni event, landing a gig, whatever)
  3. Your LinkedIn or CV

No cover letter essays. Keep it tight.
