Generator Sales Engineer - Generac Industrial

We’re hiring an experienced Generator Sales Engineer to quote and sell high-capacity Generac generators (150 kW and above) to commercial and industrial clients. With a base salary plus commission structure designed to deliver $100K OTE in your first year, this is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven sales professional with technical expertise in large-scale power solutions.

 

What You’ll Do:


· Quote and sell Generac generators 150 kW+ to commercial and industrial customers.

· Understand customer power needs and provide tailored, technical solutions.

· Deliver persuasive presentations, product demos, and customized proposals.

· Collaborate with engineering and operations teams for seamless installation and commissioning.

· Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.

· Provide post-sale support and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Track sales activity, forecasts, and reports accurately.

· Stay up-to-date on Generac products, technologies, and industry trends.


What We’re Looking For:

 

· Proven experience quoting and selling 150 kW+ commercial or industrial generators.

· Strong technical knowledge of Generac products and power systems.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

· Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage complex sales cycles.

· Ability to build long-term, trust-based client relationships.
