Data Integration Manager
This position is fully on-site in Wall, New Jersey.
The Data Integration Manager is responsible for building a unified financial data environment across the organization. This role leads the integration of systems, ensures the accuracy and flow of financial information, and develops dashboards and reporting tools that support decision making across operations, sales, and leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with systems expertise and a hands-on approach to analytics within a growing recycling company. The Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Essential Functions:
Financial Planning & Analysis
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, forecasts, and management reports
· Support budgeting processes and ongoing reforecasting
· Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
· Provide insights to leadership that drive profitability and operational efficiency
Systems Integration & Data Architecture
· Connect, streamline, and maintain data flows between operational systems (scales, dispatch, MRF systems, ERP, accounting software, CRM, etc.)
· Lead integration projects between new software platforms and existing infrastructure
· Ensure data quality, consistency, and standardization across all departments
· Partner with IT, operations, and vendors to troubleshoot and optimize system performance
Dashboards & Business Intelligence
· Build and maintain dashboards in a business intelligence tool (Datarails or similar)
· Automate reporting to replace manual processes where possible
· Translate complex operational and financial data into easy-to-understand dashboards for leadership and plant managers
· Manage data models, KPIs, and reporting structures
Data Governance & Controls
· Establish processes for data accuracy, access, and validation
· Develop documentation, SOPs, and controls around data handling
· Monitor system updates and ensure reporting integrity during changes
Cross Functional Leadership
· Collaborate with Operations, Sales, HR, and Accounting to ensure all teams have the data they need
· Educate non-financial staff on dashboards, reports, and analytical tools
· Act as a liaison between finance and technology partners
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
· 5+ years of financial systems experience
· Strong proficiency with financial modeling, data structures, and business intelligence tools
· Experience integrating multiple operational or financial systems (recycling or manufacturing industry a plus)
· Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage projects independently and work cross functionally
· Collaborate with external auditors and tax teams, providing requested documentation and explanations.
· Assist in record keeping and financial controls.
· Protect the organization's value by keeping information secure and confidential.
