Youth Ministry Coordinator
Youth Ministry Coordinator Position
Shepherd of the Hill Presbyterian Church is seeking a Youth Ministry Coordinator who loves helping young people grow in faith, friendship, and purpose. This part-time salaried role (approximately 17 hours per week) provides leadership for most of our youth programming, serving students in grades 3–10 and helping them experience a welcoming, joyful, and Christ-centered community. The Coordinator will plan and lead our two weekly gatherings, implement special annual events like mission trips and Vacation Bible School, and build relationships with youth and families both inside and beyond the church walls. Additionally, the Coordinator will supervise the Sunday School Lead Teacher and the Nursery Attendant.
This position is ideal for someone who brings creativity, spiritual maturity, and a heart for relational, educational ministry. In partnership with volunteers and church staff, the Coordinator will nurture an environment where young people feel seen, valued, and encouraged to follow Jesus in daily life. The role also includes leadership and supervision of our Sunday School Lead Teacher and Nursery Attendant as part of our coordinated Children and Youth Ministry team.
If you are passionate about guiding the next generation in faith and creating spaces where all youth—including LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse students—can flourish, we would be honored to receive your application. Join us in helping young people discover who God is, who they are, and how they are called to live with hope and purpose.
