Position Overview
Summary: The Program Coordinator supports the Fellowship’s Lifespan Faith Development (LFD) programs – including children, youth, and adult faith formation – as well as the comprehensive volunteer engagement strategy that supports congregational life.
Time: This role is a 20 hour/ week (0.5 FTE) hourly non-exempt position. If you are interested, this role is also posted as part of a full-time (40 hour/week) position and you can view it HERE. Standard working hours include Sundays when worship services take place, and occasional evenings and Saturdays. Sundays off may be taken by mutual agreement and scheduling in advance with your supervisor.

Essential Duties
- Coordinate logistics for classes, workshops, multigenerational events, and special programs.
- Ensure safe congregation practices, including background checks for Fellowship volunteers who serve in roles involving sensitive information or populations.
- Creating and maintaining program materials, records, registration systems, and communication channels.
- Maintaining feedback processes and continuous program evaluation.
- Collaborate with staff and lay leaders to align programming with Fellowship mission and worship themes.
Position Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years in program and/or volunteer coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Education: High school education required. Related education (bachelor’s or associate degree) preferred.
Required Availability
- Sundays: At least five (5) hours on-site as front of house contact for Fellowship members, volunteers and staff, with Sundays off taken by mutual agreement with your supervisor.
- Occasional evenings or Saturdays for meetings or major events.
