Inspire a Love of Music – Piano Instructor at Elsie Stuhr Center
The Elsie Stuhr Center at Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) is looking for an experienced Piano Instructor to lead engaging and inclusive piano classes for all skill levels. If you're excited about inspiring a lifelong love of music, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Plan and teach piano classes, workshops, or programs in a recreational setting
- Create a supportive, hands-on learning environment for participants
- Develop lessons that cover all aspects of learning to play the piano
- Provide guidance and feedback tailored to different learning styles and experience levels
- Prepare materials, set up equipment, and ensure the safety of participants and the activity space
What We’re Looking For
- Over two (2) years of experience teaching piano or working professionally in the field
- Specialized training in the subject area
- Strong communication and teaching skills, with a welcoming and inclusive approach
- Ability to work independently and adapt lessons to meet group needs

Schedule & Hours
Mondays & Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
