HR & PR/Events Internship
Clear Lake Bank & Trust Company is an independent, community bank in Clear Lake, Iowa with an office in Garner, Iowa and two locations in Mason City, Iowa.
Position Summary:
This part-time and seasonal/temporary Human Resources & Public Relations/Events Intern position will to assist in the administration of CLB&T’s people processes and summer public relations events. The internship will begin in mid-May and continue through mid-August.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assists with event planning, engagement and execution.
- Assists with project work to support the organization’s people processes including training, onboarding, performance management, record-keeping, and culture work.
- Assists with video creation and editing.
Typical work Schedule:
- Approximately 30-35 hours per week between the hours of 7:30-5:15 M-F
- Every Thursday evening
- Saturdays as needed to support events; May 23rd, July 4th, and July 11th required
- Candidates will be expected to be able to be flexible with scheduling based upon the needs of the Bank
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to pursue a career in human resources, public relations, marketing, event planning, or social media preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in PC usage and standard office applications (i.e. Microsoft Word & Outlook)
- Video editing experience a plus
