Partnerships Manager Intern

Field Operations | Partnerships Manager

Position Summary

The Partnerships Manager builds and manages relationships with community organizations, advocacy groups, and local leaders to expand the campaign’s reach and strengthen support across the district. This role ensures partnership efforts are strategic, consistent, and aligned with the campaign’s mission—creating opportunities for deeper community engagement and stronger district-wide momentum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain partnerships with community, civic, and advocacy organizations
  • Coordinate joint initiatives, events, and outreach efforts that increase visibility and engagement
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for partner groups and maintain regular communication
  • Support field strategy by expanding the campaign’s presence in key communities and neighborhoods
  • Track partnership activity and provide updates to field leadership on outcomes, opportunities, and next steps
  • Represent the campaign professionally at coalition meetings, community gatherings, and local events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple partnerships at once
  • Experience in community engagement, outreach, organizing, or campaign work is a plus
  • Ability to work some evenings/weekends as needed for community events
  • Political Science majors preferred (also welcome: Public Administration, Communications, Sociology, or related fields)
