Fullstack Engineer Intern

Location: Remote

We’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer Intern who enjoys building end-to-end systems, thrives in fast-moving AI-driven product environments, and cares about clean architecture, performance, and real-world user impact.

Core Responsibilities

Refactor and unify our platform into a single Next.js fullstack service, consolidating frontend, API routes, and Chrome extension authentication.
Build and maintain AI-powered features using Google GenAI, OpenAI, and the Vercel AI SDK, including real-time streaming interfaces.
Implement secure, shared authentication across web applications and browser extensions to prevent API abuse and ensure data integrity.
Design and develop backend services using Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL to manage user data, preferences, and system state.
Collaborate with product, design, and computer vision teams to support virtual try-on workflows and AI styling systems.
Monitor and analyze system performance, user behavior, and feature adoption to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to deployment, CI/CD, and production releases on Vercel.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field, or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Proficient in Next.js and React for building unified fullstack applications.
Experience with Google GenAI, OpenAI APIs, and the Vercel AI SDK.
Strong knowledge of the Prisma ORM framework and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
Comfortable implementing authentication systems (e.g., NextAuth, Clerk) across web and browser extensions.
Solid understanding of modern web architecture, API design, and deployment workflows.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and accountable, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to edge cases.

Good to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and scalable deployment strategies.
Familiarity with LLMs, streaming AI responses, and prompt engineering in production environments.
Exposure to computer vision or 3D rendering for virtual try-on systems.
Knowledge of MLOps or deploying AI models at scale.
Interest in AI-driven e-commerce, fashion tech, or personalization systems.
