RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct jurisdictional code research and write due diligence reports.
  • Perform civil engineering drafting in AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
  • Perform calculations for hydrology analysis, storm sewer pipe sizing, sanitary sewer demands, etc.
  • Assist with, prepare and compilation of construction documents, reports, calculations, and spreadsheets in collaboration with team members.
  • Assist with permit submittals, permit follow-ups and keeping up with the permit process until completion and obtaining final permit approvals.
  • Conducting site visits, including erosion and construction site visits to monitor progress.
  • Coordinate project information with clients, subconsultants, contractors and jurisdictions.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydrology/Hydraulics Modeling, ArcMap or other GIS software, and Microsoft Office
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in and foster a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members, sub-consultants and clients.
