Management Consulting Intern

Intern – Consulting

Location: In-person - Baltimore, Maryland (some remote work required)
Time Commitment: Part-time (10–15 hours/week)
Duration: 8–12 weeks (with potential extension) Spring 2026 start date.
Compensation: Negotiable
Reports To: Principal / Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Intern to support day-to-day operations, project coordination, and strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in consulting, nonprofit management, public sector work, climate and equity initiatives, or entrepreneurship.

The intern will gain hands-on experience working across real client projects, internal systems, and stakeholder engagement efforts while developing professional skills in project management, research, communications, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project coordination and task tracking using ClickUp or similar tools
  • Assist with research, data collection, and synthesis for client or internal initiatives
  • Draft and organize documents, presentations, reports, and meeting notes
  • Support communications, including emails, scheduling, and follow-ups with partners or stakeholders
  • Assist with event planning, logistics, and outreach (virtual or in-person, as applicable)
  • Help maintain organized digital files (Google Drive, shared folders, databases)
  • Provide general administrative and operational support as needed

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Interest in consulting, public service, nonprofit work, climate, equity, or community development is a plus

Preferred (but Not Required)

  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Asana, or other project management tools
  • Experience with research, communications, or event support
  • Background in public policy, business, environmental studies, economics, communications, or related fields
