Aggression, Maltreatment, & Trauma, the Journal of Child Sexual Abuse, and the Journal of Family

General Requirements:
Candidates must have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, have excellent (written and verbal) communication skills, be proficient with search engines and cloud-based applications, be detail-oriented, and be interested in/knowledgeable in the areas of violence, abuse, and trauma. Student
Assistants work no more than 25 hours per week and IVAT positions require a minimum of 5-15 hours per week, including breaks and summer. Qualifications for all positions include ability to successfully work individually and as a team member; ability to prioritize work tasks and maintain a productive
workload; sensitive to cultural diversity; and ability to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. Additional preferred qualifications: Familiarity with academic journals, APA style format and writing, research & methodology, critical thinking skills, time
management and attention to detail.
Journal Editorial Student Assistant Duties: under the general direction of the Managing Editor and Publications Coordinator, the Editorial Assistant will provide administrative support for three internationally published academic peer reviewed journals including correspondence with authors and reviewers. Tasks will also include assisting with facilitating the peer-review process, reviewing feedback and making recommendations to Editors, and other necessary activities related to the editing and publishing of scholarly journals.
