Planning Engineering Intern
ANR Group Inc is recruiting students currently enrolled in any discipline of engineering / Artificial Intelligence (AI) for a summer internship opportunity with Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration on the Hanford site in Richland, WA.
This internship is open to students with Junior or Senior class standing that can be available for a 12-to-14-week internship. This position is a full-time, 40 hour per week internship. The schedule is Monday- Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The hourly rate for this position is $26.44 per hour for Juniors and $28.98 per hour for Seniors.
Duties:
- Interfacing with project points of contact in person and through electronic means
- Assist with the creation and updating of spreadsheets for various metrics
- Supporting company safety programs
- Supporting program meetings
- Reporting and generating data for metrics
- Intermediate level use of Microsoft programs
- Effectively communicating with peers in resolution of issues
- Performing assessments
- Data entry in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
- Updating training material
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts for problem solving and Work Instruction development
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizenship
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the internship
- Junior or Senior class standing, fulltime students (12+ credit hours) during the two quarters/semesters immediately preceding the start of the internship or a recent college graduate
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Formal training on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) software
