Summer Student Intern - Treasury & Financial Risk Management

Basic Responsibilities

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to gain valuable "real world" work experience?  Snohomish County PUD offers challenging projects with access to experienced professionals and resources along with the satisfaction of knowing you've made a difference.

“Energizing Life in Our Communities” isn’t just a statement on our mission to deliver vital services to the communities we serve. We are governed by elected community members, most of us live in our service territory, and many of us are life-long residents. We deliver services that our neighbors rely on for their quality of life – whether it’s safe water to drink, heat and light to keep them warm and safe, or energy to power businesses fueling our local economy.

Our team manages the District's debt portfolio and supports financing strategies for major infrastructure projects. This summer, we'll be issuing Water bonds, a key funding source for system improvements.

You'll assist with the bond issuance process from start to finish - helping with scheduling, document coordination, and administrative tasks, while gaining exposure to the financial and accounting mechanics behind public debt transactions. This is a hands-on opportunity to see how large-scale financing works in a real-world utility setting.
