High School/Middle School Physical Education/Health Teacher

The Sisseton Public School District in Sisseton, SD is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE High School/Middle School Physical Education/Health Teacher (w-w/o coaching). 

Starting date: August 2026

Salary: $49,000+, DOE + $3000 signing bonus (based on 180-day contract)

Sisseton High School (9-12) and Middle School (5-8) each serve approximately 300 students.

Applicants should possess or be eligible for South Dakota certification in elementary education, middle school education, secondary education, or another comparable license. Certification process website: https://doe.sd.gov/certification/. Candidates applying with alternative certification must have South Dakota Preliminary Alternative Certification. Candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher in a non-education field are encouraged to apply.
