Marina Attendant
Next to being a store clerk, the marina attendant can be the first person a guest will meet at the resorts. The attendant will need to have updated knowledge of fishing technics and equipment tactics. You are responsible with renting and operating boats, renting docks, and selling tackle.
Responsibilities:
- Operation of cash registers.
- Managing incoming reservations and last minute walk-ins.
- Maintain stock and inventory of products.
- Operation and upkeep of boats and rental equipment.
- Clean and maintain work stations and all rental equipment.
- Communications with staff and general public.
- To know and answer questions on the area and resort or where to obtain that info.
This job requires interpersonal and communication skills due to contact with the general public. Long hours of standing, heavy lifting, basic math, and legible writing skills. You will need to know and follow all company environmental, health and safety programs.
