Full-Stack Web Developer Internship

This program is designed for motivated students seeking exposure to complex real-world challenges, high professional standards, and meaningful responsibility. Participants develop leadership judgment, operational discipline, and global business fluency that distinguish them in competitive professional and academic environments.

 

Participation is open to qualified students nationwide. Academic credit opportunities may be available for California State University students.

We are seeking talented, enthusiastic Web Developer Interns to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on web development projects. You will contribute to various projects, including website development, front-end and back-end programming, and user experience optimization. 

All interns who successfully complete their skills confirmation process will receive a Letter of 

Recommendation confirming their skills and proficiency from the President of I.R.D.I. Business Group®, LLC, former Governor Appointed of Arnold Scharznegegger at the end of the 2026 semester. 

Interns who have successfully completed their 3-month skills confirmation will be eligible to join paid projects. 

 Job offers will only be provided to interns who have successfully completed their skills confirmation review period. 

Note: Due to the limited availability of college credit-earning intern positions, we prioritize selecting interns who have volunteered with us for at least 3 months and are currently enrolled for Spring 2026 semester. Proof of enrolment will be required. 

Mandated Required Qualifications (Do not apply if you do not meet the following qualifications)

  • Graduating Senior or in a Master's Program in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Mandatory proficiency in Dual Stack operations
  • Experience using the programming language Laravel – PHP.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering production web applications
  • JavaScript
  • At least one backend language
  • SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Experience integrating APIs
  • Proficient in security best practices
  • Ability to work independently and within structured workflows
  • Clear technical communication skills
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving capability
  • Cloud infrastructure management
  • E-mail systems, security, two-factor authentication, and configurations
  • Experience with frameworks and libraries such as Laravel, React, Angular, or Vue.js. 
  • Experience with back-end technologies like Laravel, Node.js, or Django. 
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. 
  • Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Proof of current enrolment. 

Core Responsibilities Mandatory functions

 

Front-End Development

  • Design and implement responsive user interfaces using:
  • Lavel, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile optimization
  • Maintain accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Optimize performance, load speed, and usability
  • Integrate APIs and dynamic data into UI components

Back-End Development

  • Build and maintain server-side logic using:
  • Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or equivalent
  • Design and manage relational and non-relational databases:
  • MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Develop RESTful or GraphQL APIs
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data security controls
  • Handle server configuration, hosting, and environment management

DevOps / Systems Integration

  • Version control (Git)
  • CI/CD pipeline exposure
  • Cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent)
  • Monitoring, logging, and system reliability
  • Backup and recovery procedures

Email Configuration & Security Responsibilities

Configure and manage transactional and operational email systems, including:

  • SMTP relay services
  • Domain-based email routing
  • Secure mail delivery and authentication

Implement and maintain email authentication protocols:

  • SPF (Sender Policy Framework)
  • DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)
  • DMARC policy enforcement and reporting

Harden email systems against:

  • Spoofing
  • Phishing
  • Credential abuse
  • Unauthorized relay

Configure application-level email services:

  • Contact forms
  • Account verification workflows
  • Password reset mechanisms
  • Notification systems
  • Secure SMTP credentials and API keys using environment isolation and secrets management
  • Monitor email deliverability, bounce rates, and reputation scoring
  • Maintain audit documentation for mail system configuration and security posture
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and operational continuity requirements

Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Follow structured coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Maintain security and compliance discipline
  • Support operational continuity and handover protocols

Interns who successfully complete their confirmation process of skills will receive a Letter of Recommendation and confirmation of skill and proficiency from the President of I.R.D.I. Business Group®, LLC – California Governor Appointee of Arnold Schwarzenegger at the end of the semester. 

 

Compensation 

This internship is unpaid and classified as a volunteer position. 

Students at universities with which I.R.D.I. Business Group® LLC has academic agreements may be eligible for academic credit. Please contact us to confirm if your institution participates.

 Only interns who have successfully completed their “confirmation of competence” period (one full semester, volunteer tier) are eligible for job offers and paid project proposals. Division managers will assess the interns' proficiency and skills to determine competency. Upon successful evaluation, only confirmed interns may be considered for paid job or project offers. 

Evaluation Process 

After submitting your required documents (proof of enrollment, cover letter, and resume), you may be asked to complete a brief questionnaire. Once your materials are reviewed, candidates may receive a job offer without a traditional interview. In some cases, offers may also be extended without a questionnaire. 

Job offers are based on factors such as prior experience, recommendations from professors or team members, and overall qualifications. We reserve the right to extend offers outside a traditional interview process. 

Upon accepting an offer, students must verify their identity by submitting a copy of their state- or federally issued ID, which will be confirmed against school records before a work agreement is provided. 

Overview: Handling of Students’ Sensitive Information 

Purpose of Collection 

Sensitive information, such as State or Federal identification, is requested only after a student has been formally offered an internship. 

The sole purpose of this request is to verify applicants’ legal identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to protect both the student and the organization from fraudulent activity. 

Transmission of sensitive documents 

Students are not required to send documents by email. 

Secure channels recommended, such as: 

  • Google Drive restricted sharing (view-only, password-protected, expiring access). 
  • Open-source secure methods are available for students who prefer an alternative. 
  • SecureDrop: (open-source whistleblower submission system) 
  • OnionShare: An open-source tool using Tor that allows anonymous, encrypted file sharing directly between students and organizations. 

Storage and Access Controls of sensitive information

 All sensitive student information is stored in encrypted drives accessible only to authorized personnel directly involved in internship verification. 

  • Access is strictly limited and monitored. Logs are kept of who accesses the files and when. 
  • Files are not shared with third parties under any circumstances. 

 Retention and Disposal 

  • Student identification documents are kept only as long as necessary to verify work eligibility and fulfill compliance requirements. 
  • Once verification is complete, documents are either: 
    1. Permanently deleted (or) 
    2. Archived securely if required by law or institutional policy, with clear retention timelines. 

 Confidentiality Commitment 

 All material is classified as private and confidential. Only senior Human Resources management and law enforcement have access to sensitive data. 

  • Students are informed of the exact purpose of ID collection. 
  • Used only for confirmation of the student’s identification and background check. 

 How to Apply

  2. A cover letter explaining your interest in the internship and your proficiency with Laravel – PHP framework and Linux familiarity. 
  3. A portfolio of your recent graphic design work (attach as a PDF or provide a link to an online portfolio). 
  4. Submit Proof of current enrolment as a Senior or Master's student for the Spring 2026 semester
