Communications and Media Coordinator

General Description/Primary Objective:

This position is responsible for supporting a variety of ministry functions, which includes planning and maintenance of the church wide calendar and its communication as a priority.  It is a task and project orientated role, using various mediums for communication, information and presentation across ministry and congregation lines.

Responsibilities include the following:

Content creation and communication for the various church functions:
-Sunday and Wednesday Worship 
-Youth and Children Events
-Church Outreach Events
-Special Events (Church activities, funerals, confirmation, etc)
-Abiding Academy Events
 

Multi-Media oversight:

-Digital (graphics)

-Print (bulletins, fliers, booklets, etc)

-Social Media (FaceBook, *and other platform deemed important)

-Website 

-Gloo+ (or any preferred congregational communications platform)


On-Site Management and Support of AV Production
-Sunday and Wednesday Worship

-Academy Chapel 
-Youth and Children 
-Bible Studies
-Special Occasions (Funerals, weddings, church meetings, programs)
-Audio/Visual sermon pre and post-production
-Livestream set-up / troubleshooting
