Digital Art Instructor
About the Role
Cre8sArt School in Westwood, NJ is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Digital Art Instructor to teach creative, technology-driven art classes. This role is ideal for an artist-educator who enjoys combining creativity with digital tools and helping students build confidence across a range of digital mediums.
You will guide students through digital projects while supporting both technical skill development and creative thinking.
Responsibilities
- Lead digital art classes using industry-standard software and tools
- Teach concepts in digital drawing, painting, graphic design, animation, and introductory 3D modeling
- Design engaging projects that support skill development and creative exploration
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to help students refine their work
- Maintain digital equipment, software, and classroom organization
- Collaborate with instructors and staff on interdisciplinary or special projects
- Support students across a range of ages and experience levels
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time
- Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
- Flexible scheduling, including after-school and weekend classes
Location
- In person at Cre8sArt School, Westwood, NJ
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Art, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in digital art tools and software
- Comfortable teaching students of varying ages and skill levels
- Clear communicator with a supportive teaching style
- Organized, reliable, and passionate about creative education
