Traffic Technician
Job description:
Basic Function
Work on tasks and maintain updated project records for active projects. Traffic counting, installation of microwave radar counters, technical field work, and assist Project Managers with associated project tasks. Facilitate communication between local company project managers, offices, and clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Various Field Work
- Assist technicians doing counts and/or field work
- Drafting in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Support project managers with traffic and roadway engineering projects
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
Skills
- Oral and Written English
- Awareness of importance to work within constraints of established budgets and schedules
- Computer Literacy to include: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, MicroStation
Position Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Lift or move objects over 10 lbs
- Normal physical activities for office environment
- Travel within Ohio
- Exposure to moderate business office noise
- Business casual dress code
Licenses
- Valid US Driver’s License
Experience
- No experience needed. Company will train.
- Ideal entry level position for a recent high school graduate
