Recycling Student Worker Work Study

Student Worker -Work Study eligible to work up to 25 hours per week. Candidates work around their school schedule.  Student workers will assist with the prepping of Bobcats Go Green Recycling bins before Athletic events/games, help load and unload bins before & after Athletic events/games, assist with service & removal of all Single Stream material, Cardboard, or Paper collected during the Bobcat Athletic events/games. Work environment will not be temperature controlled - 90% of workday outside of building. 

During away games, Student worker will assist Recycling Center Management with pickups and servicing of routes for Paper, Single Stream (plastic bottles, cans, glass), Toners, Outdoor Single Stream bins and Cardboard. Work schedule "flexible" during away games.

Student worker will also be responsible for work as assigned.

Payrate Determination: The pay rate is determined by the institution’s payrate for student pay and is evaluated on an annual basis. University Pay Plan : Office of Human Resources : Texas State University (txst.edu)

Evaluation Process: Weekly and monthly (informal)
