Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School ScienceTeacher (Grades 5-8) to join our team at DGK Parochial School. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that promotes student success and encourages academic growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
- Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences.
- Foster a love of science
- Responsible for science curriculum in grades 5-8
- Responsible for school's annual science fair
- Collaborate with other educators to support student learning and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of content area
- Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Familiarity with learning technologies and innovative teaching methods.
