Working at a float center presents a unique opportunity for students to interact with customers first hand in a relaxed, calming, service based environment. This environment is designed to provide customers with a one of a kind relaxation experience from start to finish.
This position differs from most service industries as there are times of hustle and quiet throughout the day. It's ideal for students in such that it provides ample time to work on school related work while on the clock! Employees will become familiar with float tanks, saunas, and cold plunges and how to clean and maintain this equipment.
A float center associate should be able to perform all the necessary duties required to run the shop efficiently. These include but are not limited to:
- answer phone calls
- giving new customers an orientation to the float and cold plunge/sauna experience
- scheduling and cancelling appointments over the phone and online
- assisting with direct sales and cashing out sales
- cleaning float rooms
- tidying the shop
- laundry
- folding towels
- stocking room supplies
- opening the shop in the morning
- closing the shop at night
Starting pay is $14/hr and raises are generously granted based on performance.
8-24 hours per week
