Assistant Principal
Scope of Position
- The Assistant Principal works closely with the Headmaster to coordinate student support and success, with an emphasis on academic excellence and the school’s Ten Core Values.
Education and Experience
- BA/BS degree in Education or related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three years teaching experience required
- Leadership experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibiliites
- Lead faculty observation, feedback, and evaluation cycles
- Support professional development and staff training
- Onboard and support Teaching Aides
- Oversee student discipline, attendance, and support systems
- Coordinate MTSS, 504, READ, and ALP plans
- Foster a positive school culture and strong family relationships
- Serve as building administrator during school events as needed
