Student Medical Receptionist
Cashier/Reception Position Description: Responsible for working off the reception dashboard collecting demographic and insurance information, distribute appropriate forms for the patient to complete, collecting and processing point-of-sale transactions of credit card payments for services rendered. Ability to maintain receipts, balance daily deposit and maintaining a welcoming environment. Assist customers both in person and on the phone with information regarding billing, insurance, and health center services in a courteous and accurate manner.
Qualifications: Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written; Must be detail oriented; customer service, cash handling, and excel experience preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE: must be available to work hours ON THURSDAY & FRIDAYs. Students in this position are expected to work between 12-15 hours per week.

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION PROCESS: Student employees are evaluated by their supervisor at the end of each long semester.
PAYRATE DETERMINATION: All student employees may receive an increase up to $1.00/hour after a full year of employment and with a positive evaluation from their supervisor
