Inspire the Next Generation as an American Sign Language (ASL) Instructor!

Learn2Code.Live is looking for energetic and dependable ASL Instructors to lead engaging, in-person after-school classes for K–12 students. This is a meaningful opportunity to introduce children to American Sign Language and Deaf culture — with all curriculum and lesson plans provided.

Whether you’re a student, recent graduate, or professional with a passion for ASL and teaching, we’d love to hear from you! No teaching experience? No problem — training and full support are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach interactive ASL lessons using our ready-to-go curriculum
• Build a fun, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Adapt instruction to different ages and learning styles
• Manage classroom behavior and keep students engaged
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and staff
• Provide brief updates on student participation and progress
• Arrive on time and prepared to teach each session

Qualifications

• Friendly, patient, and passionate about ASL and education
• Proficient in American Sign Language (beginner to advanced welcome)
• Enjoys working with K–12 students
• Dependable and professional
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus (not required)
• Reliable transportation to San Francisco class site (94132 area)
