Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and engineering teams to deliver data-driven insights, build predictive models, and support decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and statistical solutions

Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering

Build predictive, classification, and recommendation models

Translate business requirements into analytical solutions

Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for stakeholders

Collaborate with Data Engineers to optimize data pipelines

Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed

Document models, assumptions, and processes

Stay updated with the latest data science and ML techniques

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or similar role

Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)

Experience with SQL and relational databases

Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra

Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms

Regression, Classification, Clustering, Time Series

Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)

Experience working with large datasets and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Deep Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch)

Experience with Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop)

Exposure to MLOps (model deployment, CI/CD, monitoring)

Experience with NLP or Computer Vision

Domain knowledge in [Banking / Insurance / E-commerce / Healthcare]

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
