Front-End UI/UX Prototyping Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Front-End UI/UX Prototyping Intern or recent graduate eager to bring a strong design sensibility to rapid front-end prototyping. This role focuses on crafting beautiful, user-friendly interfaces with an emphasis on visual design, user experience, and usability. You'll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to create polished prototypes and interactive user experiences that balance aesthetics and functionality.

Responsibilities

Design visually engaging, user-centered interactive prototypes and front-end features that elevate the overall user experience.

Translate product requirements and user journeys into clear, aesthetically pleasing, and responsive interfaces.

Use modern design principles including typography, color, layout, and spacing to create balanced and appealing digital experiences.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure designs are implemented faithfully and refined based on user feedback.

Focus on optimizing user flows to create intuitive and accessible experiences with minimal friction.

Communicate design ideas and progress effectively within a distributed remote team.

Qualifications

Coursework or experience in digital design, UI/UX design, or front-end prototyping, with a strong emphasis on visual design and usability.

Good understanding of design fundamentals such as color theory, typography, and layout.

Familiarity with design tools and front-end styling frameworks (experience with Tailwind CSS is a plus, but not required).

Basic knowledge of user experience principles, accessibility, and responsive design.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and learn in a remote work environment.

Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a flexible, part-time internship.

Preferred Background

Educational background in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, Interaction Design, or related fields.

Passion for visual design and crafting engaging, user-friendly interfaces.

Interest in gaining hands-on experience in front-end prototyping alongside design work.
