Assistant Principal
The Neosho School District is seeking a qualified Assistant Principal to support the daily operation of the building, provide instructional leadership, and promote a positive learning environment for students and staff. The Assistant Principal will work collaboratively with the Principal and administrative team to supervise students, implement discipline procedures, and champion the Professional Learning Community (PLC) model.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set high expectations for student achievement, behavior, and staff performance
Provide instructional and curriculum leadership aligned to district academic standards
Use data to monitor student progress and guide instructional improvement
Foster a positive school culture that supports learning, professional growth, and collaboration
Support staff development, evaluation, and continuous improvement
Promote positive student conduct and ensure effective supervision and discipline
Communicate clearly and build strong relationships with students, staff, families, and the community
Manage building resources responsibly and support school programs
Address truancy and attendance concerns and support student engagement
Participate in professional development and model effective leadership practices
Qualifications
Education
Masters degree or higher in educational administration
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current Missouri principal certificate in the appropriate grade levels
