Job Overview

BLADE is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Integrated Marketing and Partnership interns to join our team for the summer season. This hybrid role will provide exposure to various aspects of marketing and partnerships verticals, including digital marketing, campaign coordination, partner management, content creation, social media management, and in-person hospitality/event activations. The ideal candidate is interested in a future career in marketing and partnerships, eager to learn, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

This is a summer-long, 14-week, in-person program in Manhattan, rotating through our Marketing department. Interns will interface directly with BLADE fliers and will also have the opportunity to work face-to-face with our executive leadership team. The BLADE marketing internship provides interns the opportunity to immerse themselves in the private aviation industry while developing skills aligned with their specific career interests and areas of study.

Successful BLADE summer interns often have the opportunity to continue working throughout the following school year. Those graduating may be able to join the BLADE team full-time based on overall performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and strategic partnerships across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, traditional media, out-of-home, and experiential
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, partnerships, and tech, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding
  • Assist in the build-out of recap decks and other performance metrics for BLADE Partners
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and sponsorships landscape, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing and partnerships team, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and maintaining creative 

Required

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising or related fields will be best prepared for the role
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to function effectively and maturely in a diverse team environment
  • Capable of rapidly learning in an unfamiliar business environment and/or sector
  • Proficiency in content creation on social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Linkedin)
  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects with variable timelines
  • Must exhibit a professional personal presentation and brand, 
  • Strong competency in project management
  • The ability to rapidly learn new marketing software systems (Braze, Attentive)
  • Must be flexible to work evenings (event/activation-dependent)
  • Customer-focused and adaptable to accommodating last-minute requests
  • A good cultural fit in a demanding environment, assisting high-net-worth clientele
  • A strong follow-through mentality
  • Ability to always maintain a clean and professional appearance as per BLADE company policies. 
  • Ability to be sensitive to cultural nuances.

Compensation for this role is $20-$25/hr. Individual pay is determined by internship role, department, experience, job-related skills, and level of education.

 

As a non-exempt employee, you will be eligible for overtime as per state guidelines.
