Maintenance Systems & Analytics Intern - Summer 2026

About the Role

As an intern at Amcor, you'll meet and learn from leaders across the organization, work on meaningful projects, and build the skills, knowledge and network that will propel your career forward. Amcor's Summer Internship Program is designed to encourage practical application of classroom concepts in an advanced industrial manufacturing environment. From Day 1, Interns are paired with a Mentor who serves as their primary trainer, main point of contact, and professional role model throughout the summer. Matches are made based on mutual fit between the student's field of interest, the Mentor's area of expertise, and the team's workload. Amcor's interns are dependable, curious, and not afraid to fail forward. They embrace the grind, take initiative, and proactively manage their resources amongst assigned projects, daily responsibilities, and impromptu tasks, ensuring their work meets expectations for safety, quality, and timeliness.

The Maintenance Systems & Analytics Intern shares some responsibilities with Engineering Interns, supporting colleagues with programming and coding as needed, engaging in basic troubleshooting of industrial equipment (supervised), and compiling requested reports and analytics. The Maintenance Systems & Analytics Intern will typically experience a computer-centric workday consisting of ~70% office administration (CMMS development, data entry and analysis, work order evaluation and trend identification), and ~30% time on the production floor (collaboration with production and engineering teams, data collection, observation of machinery).
