This practicum experience could include some or all of these activities:
Are you ready to gain meaningful experience in an inclusive educational setting? As an Education Practicum Intern, you’ll support children in PreK–5th grade, including those with and without disabilities, through hands-on learning and collaboration.
This unpaid position is ideal for college Juniors or Seniors pursuing a degree in education or a related field who are ready to apply their learning in real-world settings.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead small group activities in areas like reading, art, music, and gross motor play
- Assist with daily routines, including meals and transitions
- Help develop lesson plans and prepare instructional materials
- Support student learning through data collection and child assessments
- If applicable, assist with case management tasks like providing referrals and family follow-ups
This practicum offers a dynamic opportunity to build your teaching toolkit, deepen your understanding of inclusive practices, and make a lasting impact on young learners.
