Schedule & Duration: 10–40 hours per week for 3–6 months, flexible around class schedule
Compensation: Paid hourly + commission for successful qualified customer acquisitions / academic credit available

Our team combines hands-on operations with targeted marketing to serve Bay Area corporations and organizations.

Internship overview

The ITAD & Electronic Waste Marketing Intern will focus on promoting our specialized services by reaching out to potential customers through calls, emails, and site visits. This role suits students in marketing, business, communications, environmental studies, or related fields eager to gain sales and sustainability experience in the recycling industry.

Key responsibilities

Utilize provided customer lists to identify and contact potential clients via phone, email, and in-person visits.

​Establish strong working relationships with newly acquired customers. 

Example projects

Develop and execute an outreach campaign targeting 50+ local businesses, resulting in qualified leads.

​Qualify leads by assessing their electronic waste needs, recycling goals, and fit for ITAD services.

Track outreach efforts, customer interactions, and outcomes in spreadsheets or CRM tools.

Qualifications

Required

Currently enrolled in a college or university (community college or 4-year) in the Bay Area.

• Ability to commute to Hayward, CA office on scheduled days and show up reliably.
• Comfort with cold calling, emailing, and professional client interactions.

​A strong work ethic.

Preferred

Coursework or experience in marketing, business, sales, communications, or environmental studies.

Interest in marketing, sales, sustainability, or e-waste recycling.

Provided resources: Professional office space, company email address, work cell phone.
